On Wednesday 24th July we presented a cheque for £1000 to Westhead Village Hall charity, who rescued their village hall from private development to provide a much needed space at the heart of the community.
Westhead Village Hall is situated in the charming semi-rural village of Westhead in West Lancashire on the outskirts of Ormskirk. It is a traditional hall in the centre of the village with one function room.
They host a variety of events and groups seven days a week for the community and surrounding areas. It is suitable for parties, fundraising and social events, slimming clubs, keep fit classes, meetings, craft groups, mum and toddler groups etc.
