Recap from 25th September 2025
Our latest sell-out webinar was a huge success, with over 600 tickets sold.
Our host, Duane Mellor, led the session, which critically examined the role of food first strategies in clinical practice. While food first has been long established as the recommended starting point, we explored whether food-first always best serves patients, or if it can sometimes delay or limit adequate nutritional support and patient care.
Our expert panel reviewed:
- The current evidence base and evolving policy landscape
- When and how to move beyond food first approaches
- The role of oral nutritional supplements (ONS) in improving patient outcomes
- Practical considerations, including adherence, palatability, and the importance of ensuring patient-centred prescribing
The feedback? Overwhelmingly positive.
