We were pleased to recently be able to donate £500 to The National Association of Laryngectomee Clubs (NALC). A charity nominated by the South East London Community Head and Neck Cancer Team.
NALC looks after the interests of laryngectomees, - people who have had a laryngectomy - their families and their friends. They also support a wide range of healthcare professionals in the UK and worldwide, encouraging education, collaboration and research.
NALC works with around 60 clubs nationwide, offering a range of services to laryngectomees and their families and carers. The clubs aim to provide crucial non-medical help and information that can only come from the experience of someone living with a laryngectomy.
