On Tuesday 16th April we were thrilled to present a cheque for £1000 to Friends of Kiwoko Hospital, nominated by South Eastern Trust Dietetic Department.
Friends of Kiwoko Hospital, a charity who provide support to the community based Kiwoko Hospital in Nakaseke district, Uganda, arecommitted to giving over £20,000 per month to help with day-to-day running, retaining good staff, and other large costly items.
Along with this financial assistance to the Hospital, they are also involved with people going out to Kiwoko, giving of their time, educating and imparting their skills. AYMES’ donationled to discussion and agreements for the South Eastern Trust dietetics department to get involved and become part of the next Uganda visit!
