On Wednesday 24th April we were thrilled to present a cheque for £1000 Guildford Home Start, who support families in the Guildford Borough.
Part of one of the UK’s leading family support charities, Home-Start UK, which has 250 schemes and over 16,000 volunteers who visit families with at least one child under five in their own homes, their vision is to see a society in which every parent has the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life.
Our donation was greatly received and is going to be used to fund the training of four new volunteers who will support Guildford Families with young children who are struggling in difficult circumstances.
